Here\u2019s a simple <br \/>guide by type to help you with your choice.<br \/>(see links in titles below) <br \/><b><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloves-online.com\/products.php?cat=84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Leather and Pruning Gloves<\/a><\/b><br \/>Leather gloves are the standard for strength and <br \/>durability. You chose from standard driver\u2019s styles to models used for wire fencing. For pruning, purchase a pair of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloves-online.com\/proddetail.php?prod=GC-ROSW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pruning gloves<\/a> specifically designed for pruning with reinforced arm protection. If you are working in wet conditions look for pigskin gloves since they will dry soft if they get wet. Newer artificial leather gloves are fine and will last longer than natural leather. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloves-online.com\/products.php?cat=89\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Cotton and Jersey Gloves<\/b><\/a><br \/>Cotton and Jersey gloves are the most popular because they are inexpensive but they have <br \/>limitations. They are breathable and lightweight and will keep your hands clean and protect you <br \/>from blisters. However, they will absorb moisture and not protect you from chemicals or cuts and <br \/>abrasions. Also, they are not very durable or long-lasting.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloves-online.com\/products.php?cat=154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Disposable Gloves (Latex, Nitrile, Vinyl PVC) <\/b><\/a><br \/>I do not recommend using disposable gloves since they are not durable and do not offer proper <br \/>protection against most chemicals and pesticides. Plus, latex gloves will dissolve when exposed to <br \/>gasoline or motor oils used in lawnmowers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/industrial.gloves-online.com\/products.php?cat=159\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Rubber Gloves <\/b><\/a><br \/>Although rubber gloves tend to be hot, they offer great protection against moisture and most <br \/>chemicals. If you only need moisture protection \u2013 natural rubber is fine. However, I suggest you <br \/>look for nitrile or vinyl gloves for use with chemicals and pesticides. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloves-online.com\/proddetail.php?prod=WK-CGO-888\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Bamboo Knit Gloves <\/b><\/a><br \/>These are becoming extremely popular since they are earth friendly, last long, fit and feel <br \/>great, and inexpensive. They also come with a coated palm for added protection and grip.
